Fanfic where the world has game mechanics

I'm looking for story recommendations for fanfic where the world is game-like or the main character has gamer-like abilities.  In particular I'm interested in stories with stat or skill grinding.  I've already read everything at these two (heavily overlapping) fanfiction.net communities:

I can't seem to figure out the relevant tag for this type of story at archiveofourown, unless it just doesn't have any stories of this kind.  So, any community or story recommendations?

I want to help design and develop a PvE-focused, solo-friendly, sandpark MMO which combines crafting, monster hunting, and story.  So PM me if you are starting one.
