I'm sure some future prosecuting attorney will find these crowd-funding numbers to be of interest.

So what exactly are they still donating for? I mean are there still milestones left to unlock in their long list of never to be completed feature creep? Seriously, this is worse than Scientology.
Donating = paying for space ships that give you in game advantages... but it's totally not pay 2 win.

The perseus $600, nomad $70, and mercury star runner $225 all warbond versions which means they can't be bought with store credit.

This is so not true, people are donating because they believe in CR and SC. It just so happens they get a thank you when they donate in the form of ships, currency etc. All these people would still totally donate if there wasn’t a reward, really.... Pinky promise...

'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless.

It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.

It is just huge resource waste....'

Yeah I had to rethink my entire understanding of donations. You see I thought it was like when I gave old clothing to the Salvation Army expecting nothing in return. I thought it was a purchase when I gave money to get something in return but I guess if you call something that looks exactly like a purchase a donation it's a donation now.

Purchases are donations now and every multiplayer game is a MMO.

I was thinking about making a donation to Steam to play that new Among Us MMO.

Very good, very good. Next round you will learn that those aren’t bugs, they are features. After that loot boxes will become surprise mechanics and you will graduate by learning that Alpha test clients are really full featured and as good as finished games. Godspeed young padawan.

Brrr..there are not enough straps in the world which could hold me down enough to ever let my eyes be held open like that, I'd as soon as die first.

Hmm, same for buying expensive ships in SC to fund the game's development.

    Weird.

Lol what the heck? You need to seriously re prioritize your life man. I just checked the last few pages and even when there are days between each million you still manage to catch it each time. No one is applauding you, even those who like this tech demo have to be pointing and laughing by now. The ONLY way this is not unhealthy is if you are literally being paid to keep this page up to date (which is a real possibility). If you are not then I feel very sad for you. Holiday season and you spend your days refreshing their milestone page.

I said the exact same thing once.  Then some medical doctors decided I needed a cornea transplant.  Boy was I wrong.
