The way he said "Best of luck!" (instead of "I wish you the best!" or something else along those lines) almost makes me wonder if there's an implied "You'll need it!" at the end, there.

It's really unfortunate how this game seems to suffer from a weird identity crisis. I do plan to give it a second look once the megaservers go in and the world is more active.

I am guessing you are talking about VooDoo. They already left 10 days back.

And it's not some secret rumour when the guild members themselves post it on social forums and their website.

He was the lead class designer so if he is the one to blame for the abysmally limited classes in WS (one weapon per class and 1 button spam) then a lead class designer replacement could rework them and make them fun as a big content update. The game still fairly new so now is the time to make any massive changes to bring the game up. The longer they wait, the more people will leave and the game will be forced to either go f2p or die.....

I don't expect any major changes; changes cost money and I feel they will be very keen to cut back on outgoings at the moment. 

One lead class designer = c.500 fewer monthly subs needed. (Remember it is not just wages but taxes / pension / medical / expenses as well as software licences and all the other costs).

Again, not surprised.  I'm sure we'll be seeing more people abandon the sinking ship before the end of the year.
