k so this is what i have done.

for one and a half years now i have been collecting....armors, weapons, and materials, i use some and sell...but i have been mostly hordeing...for this upcoming moment..

from my recent posts..i got some negitive feedback..but what some dont understand....is that im playing the game differently.....

what is there to do in the game..?? three concepts...get leveled...get money...do missions for story...

i find that pretty sad for an online game...where the only online part is having to party to level ...and having to pay other peoples prices... and story that is so strectched apart, that you don't care what its about..

heres where i come in......

i have collect a little bit of money to get it started. some gil investors in the game would be so nice...but as ive heard... im alone in this....im stupid...im wasting my time...yada yada..

im merely playing the game different...

i have crafted numerous sets of equipment...levels 1-10-15-20..and some extra dough for expenses..

the plan?

to collect as many ? players or newbs, or exp players. in my play time...equip them (heres the kicker) for FREE!(if they are new)...and escort them to an opposing terroritory...where the they fight together in a party....collecting conquest points...and hopefully, putting the area under our city's control......with each monster they kill...the more influence our city gets towards the area....

why?

it creates an everlasting struggle for land and rights to farm in an area....or rights to teleportation..

my thoughts where this....we have to start learning something new...and thats to stay out of opposing terroritories...let them have their rights to farm the areas they control....when a city gets confined to farming in their own terroritory...they have huge amounts of materials..from only those areas....createing a city asset.....(something other cities don't have) when this happens...other cities will need materials from across the world....

now...heres what happens...heres what i want the game to be....the cities could have different strategies...that is...if a city works together.....they can either trade or sell materials from city to city...using the AH...while they are there...they can buy materials they need from the city for when they go back...but heres the fun part.....if a city really needs a huge supply of certain items...or the rights to the area for certain quests......they band together and go out to take the area over..

this is where the war starts...having the rule of ...staying out....breaks only on one condition.....your city is attacking it....where your city elects an area of attack and storms it for a week..trying to get as many kills (in the name of your city) in that area....before the next tally on sunday.....doing this...makes other cities go.....what the hell! where under attack...so they send their people to kill mobs...in hopes of defending that area.....if they still need/want it.....but when a city attacks an area...it leaves themselves vulnerable to attacks on them......

but once an area is taken...i dunno...make a rule that there HAS to be a one week retreat...where the defending city has to leave and cannot attack in that area for 7 days..giving the other city time to regroup..reap the attacking benefits...and farm for a little while...

ahhh...if only cities worked together......this would be alot more exciting the what is happening now.....

im on server caitsith..i hope i will get the wheels in motion...but i need you.....your feedback....your telling of this in other servers....tell people about this idea....get it out there.....maybe SE will change a few things for it....this is an online game.....ever changing.....supply and demand......FFxi right now is just a mess......with no real economy or excitement....what do you think we would get if our city got each terroritory.....1 month free of play for each person in that city.....

who knows....but SE whats feedback for this kind of thing....and in time this could happen....if you do something about it....i know i know...its your money..youll do what you want.....but think about your city....if 100 people read this...thats one hell of an army....if you got it together yourself on your server....just think of it....a person sitting there fighting a monster...and 100 people come into the area and start killing everything in sight.....they would run to their city with their tail (mithras ) inbetween their legs....and not know what to do....there only choice would to gather....and do the same....

 

think about it...and post  back....i like hearing if its a good/bad idea.....if your that into right an email to square with this attachted....make this a petition....the more they see this...the more they get the point.....

if your interested even more...go back a few more posts and find the post called (final fantasy...new era?) there is some more ideas of mine... (a little out there...and maybe ahead of myself) but they draw a bigger picture on what might come....

 I think the ideas are awesome, but it will take immense, and I mean immense cooperation with a lot of people to get this going. It would take even more work to get SE to change the game to fit the idea. I do not think SE will do muxh about it. But there might not be a need. If everyone works together and follows the rules, changing the game might just be an interferance. It will give the game a awesome, loyal community and a real world (without SE interferance).

EDIT- If you can actually get this to work, it will give the new comers from XBOX 360 a lot more to stay for. In the end the best part of an MMORPG is its community!

 kk, i talked to my guild peeps. If you register they'll give you a level 2 login and also a place to put your ideas. A normal guild member is level 3.

your help is very much appericiated..i am currently in sandoria recruiting people, the ultimate goal right now is to unite sandoria.. the linkshell name i am in is SandoriaFirstWave  we are gonna need to start SandoriaSecondWave  if you would like to help start that LS i will send u 8k to buy it....make it full red...i will try and message you in game...i will also /befriend you for mail....

if you have noticed...sandoria owns most of the world now....we are currently in sarutabaruta...taking control....gather our brothers...unite the city....once the other cities have seen what has happened...or read this..they will have to unite as well...or forever become underdogs...while sandoria benefits with outpost teles and intown vendors....

the real purpose is to control the borders...outsiders not allow in other regions....why? to control materials into the city....that way an economy will start... and each city will have its asset in which to make money off of....when windurst unites and takes back sarutabaruta(if ever) they will be in silk thread and honey production (and etc.) this way..materials from around sandoria and owned areas, will be cheaper, because of huge supply...and other materials...from other cities..will be the way to make money.....that way....spread the idea...send people to read this...copy and paste and get it out there....its time to start a new era....your help makes it grow that much faster

Man....where do you get your ideas?  Before I start-

1. You are certainly entitled to play the game your way, no different than I play it mine

2. I'm glad you're not on my server.

 

Okay, why? just why is all I'm asking.  First of all, if we apply your theory to the storyline, you are only excaserbating the tendencies the storyline of the game is trying to dispel- strife between the races.  You may argue that be increasing this, you are only playing into the game's natural tendencies, and in theory you would be right- but at what cost?  Each race and nation has something to offer to the benefit of all the other players.  What would a ranger in Bastok do without the crafter from another nation making arrows with the materials close at hand and guild support quite accessable?  Are humes and galkas only supposed to party together, and elvaans all alone?  Yes, you may say, and nothing is stopping someone from creating a taru character in Bastok- but look at the overall stats....that's not too common.

And what of the joys of finally making rank 5 to get your airship pass, where you finally get freedom to travel the world at essentially no cost? 

And don't even try to tell me that if you have 5 members for a party and all you need is that white mage, but they are windhurstian, you're gonna turn them down to wait for someone from Sand'oria- that's just ridiculous and a pipe dream.

Character's reputations are build around SKILL first, EQUIPMENT second, and almost never around country of origin.  Face it- most players view choice of country based around choice of storyline, and maybe guild support in that hometown.

 And what if you really did have your way?  All you would perpetuate is stagnancy in the game- nations now control huge regions of the map and it never really changes, foreigners are MPKed when crossing the borders, and the cooperative nature of the game is lost.

 

Again, you're free to play the game as you wish, and if people join you that only enhances your gaming experience.  There's enough people on this game that we ALL can find things we like doing without impeding (too much) on others.  Enjoy your time, but don't expect to change the dynamic to this extreme.

I respect your plans...

I am willing to restart the game as many times to lvl 1-10 in enemy terrirtory.  My help should go a long way as I do not need food, water, or sleep.

 

When will this be started?

 

Also what server?  I may need world pass, starting gil, etc.
