We may not have McQuaid with us this time around, but Smed knows what he is doing.  Breathe easy.

Smedly has nothing to do with EQNext - like zero creative input and zero lines of code being written by him.

Smed scrapped the original EQ3 so if Next the way it is we have him to thank.

...That's essentially what being smug is. Acting like you're so blatantly right that even the thought of someone disagreeing with you is appallingly stupid and comical. you have a good chance of bullying them into believing you.

And what he did for SWG, he now does for EQ?

    Pardon any spelling errors
Konfess your cyns and some maybe forgiven
Boy: Why can't I talk to Him?
Mom: We don't talk to Priests.
As if it could exist, without being payed for.
F2P means you get what you paid for. Pay nothing, get nothing.
    Even telemarketers wouldn't think that.
It costs money to play.  Therefore P2W.

    Bit too dramatic, isn't it?

EQN's fate is in EQN's devs hands. Smed signs the checks.

That is probably for the best.

Well, with Brad McQuaid's track record starting with Vanguard, not having him is a step in the right direction.  He has vision, but couldn't lead ants to a picnic he set the basket down on an ant hill and he couldn't manage a budget to save his mom's life let alone his own.

He is a disaster and needs to be outlawed from having anything to do with computers or gaming of any kind ever again.
