Not completely related to the game, but we might see it come up as a skin to buy.....they are making Thor a woman.

They are making the new contorller of the Hammer a women. Thor the  Male has lost the hammer a few times to other people and regains it.

YOu mean a new "Enhanced" skin? Yeah, they have these for several characters. Like Lady Loki for example. It's just an opposite gender skin with different voice acting to match. PRetty cool, IMHO. I'm hoping for an "enhanced" Storm to be honest, would really enjoy having a male version of that particular hero.

No, Marvel is actually rewriting Thor as a woman.

Starbuck used to be a man... then they made him a woman... no one seemed to care in the end.
  • LSMB! Less sausage more boobs.

I most definitely support more female heroines.

This is going to fail, not even female marvel fans will like this.  I dont see why they dont just make new Characters instead of changing existing characters.

I asked a friend at college and she told me: "dude, I don't care we care about the characters until we're done reading that comic book."

IDK, more females the better for me.

I wouldn't care if he wasn't based on a Norse God depicted as a male for hundreds of years.

My point exactly... wait long enough and no one will notice Obama is now a woman.

The name itself is very Masculine. It really makes so sense from any standpoint IMO.

I don't know, in my mind "Thor" is a very simple word. I'd half expect Thor to be the name of some nice bed sheets company. ;)

Marvel didnt wait long enough since thor and avengers movies and all the cartoons are still fresh, not to mention avengers 2 is coming like next year or something.  Now imagine in avengers 2 thor is all of a sudden female, people are going to be like wtf?

So... you're saying you half expect Thor to be on your bed? That could be thunderous.

Thor to me sounds like the name of a certain God, not Goddess, it also sounds like it should be said in a low roar in battle. Or Black Metal song.

I imagine the word "Thor" in long tall black letters on a postage stamp-sized cutout on the end of a bedsheet.

Depending on who they choose to be Thor, they'll survive.  They've done it before... they'll do it again... nothing is sacred.

A female Loki would have been interesting and potentially clever.  A female Thor is just going to be boring.
