Well here it is, the game world looks very fantasy, nothing in the way of combat but the characters defiently have a nice look to them, kinda remind me of Baulders Gate or IWD.
What do you guys think?

The only thing i could think, ...
They got a long way to go
Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)
It might take a while but I just have this feeling it will be released.
Realeased yes, but finished? thats another question...

$152,000 and 9 months in and that is everything they have to show for it... Impressed? Not really.
This isn't a game, it was a looking around a generated map. Terrible graphics, animations are bad. I know the game is supposed to hail back to the EQ1 days, but I never expected the graphics to look like it too.
From what I have heard of the new lore all I can say is I am glad I got my money back. I don't trust Brad and I don't trust the cult like followers he has either. Even thanking one of his mods on face book for their comment. That's just pathetic. Likely it was Nirrtix thanking her self with her "mod" abilities.
So many trolls on that site and they don't even realize it.

What a joke. If we didnt know it before now - the man really has no shame. To produce that after 9 months of "work" is really quite something.
Although I dont know whats worse - that or the fact that his fans seem to be lapping it up. At this stage. even after all thats happened. im pretty sure he could literally serve anything up to the die hards and they would thank him for it.
r.i.p. c!
holy shit that looks like runes of magic. bad.
rather stick to an ope nworld game then another themepark
CU had a combat demo within its Kickstarter month. With dozens of characters on the screen and some particle effects. Yes, it looked bad, but it had characters running around (with better animations IIRC), shooting stuff at each other and dying, so it had the basics of combat. They could've put some grass/tree/mountain models in there - all easily made with this level of graphics - to achieve the illusion of a world.
This demo looks quite awful, but then again, it's a demo, so they may have some non-presentable stuff halfway done. Not that I find that likely, because I wouldn't show any of this to the public. Decent godrays are pretty much the only good thing in that video.
A broom - I think they made so in the name of realism. The characters stick their mounts in their @ss, so that it doesn't just appear in a cloud of smoke like it does in WoW.
Of course, then there is the smell...
They posted two new videos, not just one. Here is the link to the second...
"This video in particular shows that we now have true Client/Server code working. You can create an account, select a character, and log into the server. Once in-game you can see and talk to other players." - Brad McQuaid

Does it also steal thousands of dollars to pay off the personal debts of Brad upon logging in?

Admit it, supporters of this game were truly and royally molested in their cavities.
The way that character walks... HAHA!
I know its far from finished, but you would think they would do a much better job for a showcase video...
First impressions count, so this was the nail in the coffin for many!

I can't even believe that they would show this as an example of their work. It's really quite terrible.
I love it.
Wow... so many MMO players that don't know what a tech demo is.
Now I agree Brad is a crook and I will not give him a dime until the game is released and getting awesome reviews, but criticizing animations in a tech demo is like saying a movie work print has bad special effects. Get it together guys.

The fact you are willing to give a crook money because he gives you something in return kinda says a lot about you as a person. Just saying. The dude stole money from people that were supposed to be his team/coworkers. I mean come on man. Get it together guy.

You're focusing on the wrong part of the post. Also, Brad isn't the only person working on the game. He didn't steal money from anyone, he took it from donated money. What that money was meant for or how it was used is beyond my knowledge. Do you know what Brad spent it on, all we know is he took it. Like I said, I will pay for a solid game, but I will not pay for possibilities.

First impressions count, but I don't think this video is intended for a larger advertising campaign. They've made no big fuzz about it and the intention is probably just to show enthusiasts that at least something has been happening behind the scenes in the last few months. These enthusiasts know that they still haven't secured funding after the failed KS campaign, so expectations at this stage aren't and shouldn't be high.
About the animations and all that, I wouldn't judge it at this point, although I do want to say something to the sceptics: world building, too, takes a lot of work. Anyways, in the end I care little about how the game looks at this stage;I know that once the game's released, it'll look vastly different.
I would regard the videos they now released as nothing but a sign of "look, we're alive". I'll keep on following the project and hoping it gets finished at some point.

Disclosure: Was a huge supporter of the project until the announcement of funding being dried up as well as Brad taking ~$40,000 from the donated funds.
The sorcerer does look like it has something up her butt and cant let it fall. Not sure if that is what they're going for, but damn, plz stop the shoulder shake, it is to much and makes the character walk really damn funny. Not to mention Aradune seems to walk like his thighs are glued together and all he can move leg wise is from the knee down. I do enjoy the lighting especially the rays of sun and moonlight. However that's not much for not hearing anything from them since april/may ish..
To be honest, for them to actually be making some progress with a dev team of community supporters is a bit impressive. I'll give them that, but they still have a long way to go and a lot to win back fans. I know I will continue to look out for updates on this game but I am still far far far from convinced that anything will come of it and that if something does come of it that it will be positive.
Lots of ground to make up Brad, keep going I suppose....
