Honestly I thought the KS was a success considering it had Brad's name attached to it. This game needs to be made but it never will as long as it rides on investors trusting in Brad. This project desperately needs a new face behind it while Brad works in the background.

Vontar, the whole original dev team assumed that the investor with the trust fund would come through. To assume that it was just Brad that assumed it is not correct. I agree about Vanguard it was an amazing game.

Also the Kickstarter was ALWAYS made for making the game if possible. Part of that process was to make a prototype (demo) to show investors should they need more money. MMO's take millions to make SWTOR cost around $300 million, World of Warcraft cost $40 million for just vanilla! So to assume that this was probably going to fund the game was a dream. I knew that from a start when I was an orange member.

Those of you who are on the Pantheon site know I am a mod, but other than having mod powers on the site I am an investor like the rest. I get the same investing perks etc.. Everyone just wants this game made.

As to those who are saying that noone wants an old-school slow grind MMORPG... they are thriving look at Camelot Unchained and Shroud of the Avatar. Look how much they have crowd funded. Eve online is old school it is hard and a ruthless universe. Eve online has 500,000 players and usually around 30,000 players online at a time. There is definately a demand for old-school and Pantheon.

As to the post on Pantheons facebook page. That is a rough draft of what was said by a mod member about that same situation. Brad owned up to his mistake, and I respect him for that.

Right now, despite the mistakes that have been made, and owned up too, this is the only game for me. I know they still need more investors for it. I will support it, and hope to see it get made.

Brad is still confident that it will be made in 3 years! He still has supporters out there that want to have this game made.

And still the morally and ethically bankrupt  bottom feeders running this crap stain of a site push this game that will never see the light of day. Once again they prove they are nothing but a biased and propaganda site for those they have sold out to and ignore the rest.

For all those who say that noone will work on this game simply to see the game made.

This is Montreseur, one talent who has offered to work on Pantheon. You can watch him work on his own personal work. This is not for Pantheon, but it is to show you that talented designers are wanting to work for Pantheon.

I really don't think they are going to get the required investor funding. Its one thing for fans to forgive the trainwreck of Sigil games, but I can't see a company investing millions in a project led by someone who drove that bus over the cliff.

Exactly! Monts work is great and others are backing the game, fans of old school RPG's mostly, but the new talent is whats going to bring Pantheon to life.

You guys are missing the point.  Brad can't manage projects very well.  I'd almost like to put him, John Appleton (greedmonger), and Uwe Boll in room together just to see what the hell emerges.

    You make me like charity
