I just saw the post on SWTOR forum from player who spotted on PTS in the general section of event achievements section:

Hammer the Machine - Played Smuggler's Luck slot machines 100 times

Is casino event coming to SWTOR?

Logged to PTS and I can confirm that there is new achievement, though  there is no name for this new event yet. Can't wait!!!!!

You beat me to it . Was just about to post about this , now if they use the existing casinos on Nar Shadda and we have our Sky palaces then OMG , this will make the game a more rounded MMO. I am all for it. I hope it's a permanent feature though , but once a month like the bounty hunter event would do. Yay!

Have you seen the AT-AT type mount legs btw ? I want one naooooo!

I hope it's fun & integrated well. Minigames tied to the ground character are usually pretty immersive; The worst thing about Hearthstone to me is that it's a game in WoW, but you can't actually play it while in WoW, even though there's boards and NPCs going through the motions.
