Looks like I'm finally getting my PVP MMO from SOE

Sounds awesome...  this has the potential to be much of what I've wanted from EQN.

Yep, I'm very excited. While I still want EQN to be the best it can be, this game is looking to fill a void I've had for a long time. Other smaller projects haven't cut it, I hope SOE and Smedley's support can get it done.

I am also happy. This way PVP crowd can stick to PVP servers and PVE crowd to PVE servers.

A stupid zombie game? Sorry, played out genre and it's already been done. See the secret world flop.

TSW isn't a survival horror MMO. It is also very different from H1Z1. I love TSW, don't care for H1Z1 really. But they have nothing in common besides both have zombies. But not many games these days don't have zombies. Even a WoW character race is zombies.

    Lol

Almost as played out as a fire arm themed first person shooter.

PS:  Both your statement and my own are just plain dumb.

Well I wonder how this will compare to DayZ, but it looks interesting.  Seems worthwhile to keep on my radar, although it's filling up quick, LOL

If all you wanted was FPS style PVP, why not play a FPS? DayZ is boring and while I was the 13th out of 12k to sub on reddit (yay for me), I'm still not seeing any more depth to H1Z1. Building, crafting, actual hard AI/World do sound great, but if people just run around killing one another mindlessly, not much different then COD/DayZ or whatever other KOS PVP game. If H1Z1 can pull it off and actually attract a crowd that actual uses more then two brain cells, I will be happy and it will be a great example of OW FFA PVP working. Very skeptical at this point though.

How/why you would want that type of PVP in a fantasy mmorpg with classes/races/skills/lore etc is beyond me. Apples to Oranges. Unless all you want is PEW PEW kill it all, no matter the setting. Which makes for nothing special what so ever.

I'm excited for H1Z1.  Dayz is a great concept imho, but the engine just sucks for that kind of game.
