So I was watching this video in which a nicely organized group of players was massacring the hordes as they tried to fight their way through the bridge blockade. As the leader of this group referred to it, they were being a "cock block" for both sides. And I was thinking to myself, what would have been a good tactic in dislodging them from the bridge? Simple answer: TANKS and their healing support.
Instead of coming in onesy twosies like they were doing, they should have charged in with two groups of tanks (about 5-6 of them) with healing support from each side of the bridge. That "cock blocking" group would have been steamrolled in no time flat. This would have been the tactical thing to do. But, as you can see from the video, most of the enemy players were just randomly zerging.

That was a fun vid and what I would call good PvP.
As for how to break it up and push them out...just need to co-ordinate the attack. Only a few times was there a concerted effort to enter the tower en masse and they didn't have enough numbers or tactics. To clear them there was a brief moment where someone could have done it with back up. That was when the enemy got the top level and put down some oil. If someone had organised the big rush, stating the objective was the top level, to place oil at the top stairs, and the hold the back side...they would have broken things up.
Cool vid though.
