Is a lightning Sith sorcerer mobile or stationary? Last time I played a gunnery commando, which was totally stationary.

Try going assault/pyro commando/merc, they are fairly mobile and very good DPS. As far as sorcs go, madness will be much more mobile than lightning IMO, but you will spend a lot of time spamming force lightning.
