I am ok with them doing a modern zombie MMO.

From glossing over the responses, it seems alot of people are suggesting there are too many modern zombie mmos but as far as I know, there is really only DayZ mod (soon standalone) and that WarZ one that had to change its name....and those games arent really MMOs from what I understand, they are pretty much semi-persistant TPS/FPS with low capacity servers.

Now add to the fact SOE is now leveraging procedural generation, voxel tech, storybricks, and SOEmote mixed into a Modern Zombie MMO for a possible AAA sandbox experience within the genre since there are none.

I can see why the SWG peeps would not be too happy though if they were lookin for Sci-Fi or Space Opera but hey at least its another potential sandbox from a big company and there is always the Repopulation :)

Even WoW and GW2 are both heavily themed with Zombies

Some people do not think Star Wars is Sci-Fi but fantasy. There was an argument about it in a SWTOR thead a few months ago.

If it does not have space and JTL like gameplay with it, then SWG people can still not "come home"

I hate myself for thinking this sounded good, at least until the God-fearing part.  Can we substitute dancing and brewing strong homemade beer instead?

I am convinced there is only one way to eliminate these grave evils, namely through the establishment of a socialist economy, accompanied by an educational system which would be oriented toward social goals.

    Agree.

Oh ,  if attention seeking was a skill then John would be a Grand master. With his EQ next about ready to go live , any  publicity is good publicity despite the fact by stirring the crap pot of touchy subjects like the failed SWG , old turds like me may come floating to the top again.
