change characters?

Is there a way to change characters w/o quitting out of the game and logging back in?

Closing out and having to launch the game again and then login again; that's more time consuming than a typical disconnect that sends you back to the character select screen that I've experienced with most games.

Nope, no way at all, you have to drop and restart. You used to be able to go to the login screen, which didn't work all the time, so you had to restart then too. I think they took the option out with the Exodus rollout.
