Pay to Play Right Now?

I've been a fan of the Ultima series since Ultima IV, so I'm approaching this one with guarded optimism.  I've never pledged to a Kickstarter campaign before.  Can you still donate now and get into an ongoing alpha?

It is currently limited to a few days every month or so. I think the email i received (not in beta) said it was for just this weekend and is only testing crfating and some other things.

it's not an open alpha.  there are alpha tests.  they are not 24/7.

You can get in by pledging $45 or more, just keep in mind that the game is in pre-alpha. Access is sporadic, a couple of days maybe every month if we're lucky, 90% of features not implemented yet, etc. 

What is in game (walking, jumping, equipping things, basic crafting, and placing items in your house) is very promising. At this point, I'm considering boosting my pledge.

For the pledge fee you not only get to test it, you also get the full game as well when it becomes available.

And don't forget about the Alienware Arena promotion! So really you just need to pledge $25 bucks to get testing privileges and a copy of the game. By far, the best deal is the $155 level, at which you get all five planned episodes (expansions). That's ten years of gaming, people!

And remember, we are still in PRE-ALPHA! It might feel like you're a latecomer, but this is still very early in the project's history. Every single testing session of the game has shown such rapid and marked improvement it has just blown me away! Can't wait to see what Beta looks like!
