Hows the performance compared to 1.0 ?

I played a little in 1.0 and  was wondering what the performance is like with max settings, I remember in 1.0 it ran like a dog even on good systems.

Any information is appreciated

Fine ......except that at times what you see on screen is actually somewhat behind what the server thinks is going on (lagged). It can be quite noticeable moving out of  aoe for example. Basically whilst overall performance is fine combat is far from 'crisp'. There are many people playing happily despite this it appears.

It runs exceptionally well on even older computers.

They've improved that in 2.1.  For the hardest stuf in the game, the instance lag has been dramatically reduced.
