MMO with a really tight-knit community

I used to play FFXI back in the day. The community in that game was amazing. WoW was like that for a while, too, but eventually with cross-server dungeons and eventually cross-server zones, that went out the window.

Are there any MMOs out there that have a really tight community, and progression is kept within the server?

Try "World of Tanks" or "League of Legends", they both have very memorable communities. LOL

Wushu, we know each other. No cross server stuff. Very old school in that way.

Haha yeah I remember that "great" FFXI community when I tried it......I got the "Y'all aint from around here is ya" feeling when I played it....No one answered any questions and they came across as quite rude....I had no problem deleting that game after the first couple of hours.
