Question about leveling jobs.

in Final Fantasy XIV
Hey everyone, I am just about to hit level 30 on my Lancer and I am wondering when is the best time to start leveling the Marauder class in order to unlock the Dragoon?  My goal is to get to 50 on the Dragoon and start doing raids, I am just a little unsure on the best way to get there.   Thanks in advance.

    You might as well do it now.  Only have to level it to 15 so it won't take long at all.   That will also get you a couple cross class abilities you might find of use.
