They've announced two upcoming bonus xp and luminance weekends.

As a special thanks for your patience during the recent service outage, bonus Luminance and XP are on the way! This weekend we will be enabling a 150% bonus to Questing XP and Luminance for quest rewards in AC1 from Friday September 6th through Tuesday September 10th. A second bonus XP/Luminance event is slated for September 20th through September 22nd.

The second bonus weekend is now active.
Combined with the reduction in quest timers this is a great time to return or roll up a character.
