Endgame Options

in Star Wars: The Old Republic

I'm considering giving SWTOR another go.  What are the current end-game options?  Is it basically just raid or PvP?  Did they ever make ships into a housing option where you can customize?

    no still can not customize ships.  options for activities are raids, flashpoints, 8v8 warzones, dailies, the gree event when it is going on(usually shows up for 2 weeks and then gone for another month or so), and world bosses.  there is also another monthly event that will be starting up in a couple weeks (but my understanding is that its for lvl 15+ so not really just end game) and currently scheduled for october is 4v4 arenas.

    How long does it take to grind dailies for a set of decent gear?  Or are you better off buying crafted gear on the GTN?

    It takes time to gear up here is a little link to help out.  Its a little outdated but still should help there is another tier of gear this link does not cover.

    OK, thanks for the link!  Do you need to go through all the old gear grind steps, or can you basically skip to the current gear?

    Having the BEST of the old gear can help, otherwise, meh.  You will be able to buy some of the mid level old stuff as you get the new stuff too, if I recall.
