are the farmers still around?

hey all,

gave this game up over a year ago, moved on to EQ2, then WoW, and im growing tired of Blizzard and how terribly they have handled the game.  what im wondering is if L2 fixed its farmer problem.  i loved the game play, the environment, the scenery, the graphics, but the farmers just ruined the game for me.  so is there anyone still playing that will let me know?  also, is NC Soft actually doing anything about the farmers if they havent gotten rid of them alreadry?

Farmers are in different areas now.

Most are around the Garden of Eva
The dragon Valley Cave
Cruma 2
ToI
Farming and creating their own farmer clans to earn more money by taxing areas with their castles...

So its actually never going to end sorry man.

I seen many botters/farmers helping out during a seige.

okbossok and his underlings were helping during the last seige I went to.

He is the female elf that snagged my Karmian Tunic when I died in Dragon Valley during my 2nd Prophet Quest.

Besides not buying from the farmers, we should compose a list of farmers who we should be aware of and may be contributing to the biggest farmer threat? Kiss? I haven't gotten up to the 55+ to find out who KISS is and what they do, but jugding from posts, they seem to pose as a huge threat. However, I have been playing 1-40+ and I have seen all the farmers that do support the farming organizations who have been attacking the legits hunting in an area, in order to take their gear or kick them out of the hunt area. Anywho, here are a few Alliances I'm aware of that farm:

1. Purity (Hardin area, I've seen so far)
2. ACE (Big battle last seige Sunday, the fight to keep the farmers in check and preventing them from having a second castle)

Clans you should be aware of:
3. Tianfengshen or something...rather a long name, if I see their clan name again, I'll re-edit or if someone could be kind to post the exact spelling - a group tagged in this clan has trained my party before in a hunting ground.

Some players you should be aware about:
1. Misszhuangchen (Don't really recall her name, but she will PK you if you flag anywhere if its opportunistic and she aids farmers)

Aside from all that, everyone shouldn't really be concerned about the alliances as much as the non-clanned PCs that probably finance those alliances. These are people who you see on your alts or main (just started; lowbie) everday, who go around with Bot trains, usually in places like AC, CT lvl 1 & 2, FT, SODA, Dwarf Village, Orc Village, who eventually become clanned in ACE or the other farmer organizations.

Example of one of these people: Daforest, who leads a full bot train party in CT, I've seen him when this character was fresh, and he was AFK botting in EG.

If anyone else has names to add to the list we should be aware of, that would be great. This a blacklist but it is just so that people should be extra cautious if these PCs walk in on the hunt spot, so that you wouldn't be caught off guard if you see a mob train running your direction.

Seems that even alliances teamed with farmers can get castles so this person says at the Lineage II official forums maxxx
