The Mak'Tar was founded in April of 2012 by Fleet Admiral Nierion, Fleet Admiral Tu'Lok, Admiral Kilaya, Admiral James, Admiral Jewkesman and Commander Susik. The Mak'Tar goal is to create a family fun experience for all members and to celebrate the meaning of what a family is. Inspired by the movie Galaxy Quest, the Mak'Tar continue to grow each day and regardless of what challenges they face there is always one saying that rings true......

The Mak'Tar Goal
The group strives on keeping a drama free & relaxed atmosphere at work for our many members from across the globe including US, Canada, UK and other parts of Europe. The following is required from all members and applicants:Website / Forum registration.
Complete 2-4 week probation as Cadet.
VOIP (Mumble) is required for all group activities, if you don't have a mic you can still join us and listen.
Mumble and regular forum activity is required for any employee to be successful and it helps The Mak'Tar get to know you better and find the right place in the corporation that is tailored to your style and needs.
If this is the corporation for you and your probation is successful then you'll start your journey as a full fledged employee after working through the Mak'Tar Trials and learning such skills as:

The Mak'Tar is always playing a variety of recreational activities, which will include Star Citizen upon release. Feel free to join us for a game. We already have quite a few members getting together for a variety of other recreational activities on the Steam platform.

Oh my... a Galaxy Quest Foundry mission which I overlooked so far? I won't have much game time until next week, but that's a mistake which will be corrected soon...
"Never give up, never surrender" was a great line indeed, but my favourite is "by Grabthar's Hammer, you shall be avenged" from Rickman
If your looking to have a more active role in the fleet we are also in the process of looking for Officers to help with the day-to-day running of the fleet. Officer roles will usually require us to get to know you first and see regular activity in game, on the site and on our voice server, but we do have Duty Assignment roles which allow you to assist our officers with current activities and see how you do.
