"It's getting hot in here so take off all your gear" roflmao. Will play it just because of that ad alone.

Could not care less, and i am not even using adblock. They do not disturb me in the slighest.

I feel it is a sad way of doing biz, but as long as someone is buying i guess they will stay.

This have been a good conversation

I'm simply surprised with how long they have been up on every page.

    My boss.

He's never had a problem with me browsing MMORPG.com until now.

As a mentally well balanced grown up I have no issue with the adverts.

As a responsible adult who uses his work time to generate profit for my employer I don't care if other people feel uncomfortable viewing the adverts in their workplace.

    +1  well said.

All of my posts are either intelligent, thought provoking, funny, satirical, sarcastic or intentionally disrespectful. Take your pick.

I get banned in the forums for games I love, so lets see if I do better in the forums for games I hate.

I enjoy the serenity of not caring what your opinion is.

I don't hate much, but I hate Apple© with a passion. If Steve Jobs was alive, I would punch him in the face.

Umm i know there was that AWARDS thingy, did this site actually say that about the game?

The game is pretty much an instant delete from HD imo.

As to Ads i couldn't care less what ads are posted as long as they are labelled ads and don't break any laws.

Of course good ethics and morals  always should be in line, wouldn't look to good for a site to layout rules but carry on with poor ethics, you know >>>Hypocrite.

If these Scarlet Blade ads offend you maybe you shouldn't be gaming. Really they are no different than most TV commericials that those other people watch.

Game itself is no worse than WOW and their elves or any other game. I don't think they stopped doing AoC ads and they have full frontal nudity.

The ads don't seem any worse than what I see at the grocery store check-out isle.

I just think it's tacky and reminds me of those cheap Evony adds, but at least these actually represent the game. The anime-ish, plastic art style and over-saturated colours dont help. I guess I have more respect for the mmorpg genre and would prefer something with more dignity, its hard to shake the feeling the devs dont take it that seriously, I dont mean in the way the Wildstar devs joke around, I mean this seems to be a flash in the pan, made for a quick buck, not the long term project mmos are supposed to be. After all, most of the players will go off it once they start getting real girlfriends.

I think I am just sick of these cheap korean mmos in general, still at the rate they are shutting down it shouldnt be a problem for much longer. (ironicly most of the really expensive mmos I am looking forward to are korean)

    Tacky. Very tacky.

Also, the comparison to TERA is not fair. Yes, the men were scantily clad, but so were the women. It was fair all around. And the armor in TERA (or lack thereof) was not its selling point, but the combat.

    Another thread about SB ads?

I thought this horse was well and truely beaten to death by now. The SB ad is showing as I write this so let's look at them.

The Medic: wearing a bikini, no worse than DOA or the cover of swimsuit illustrated.

The Whipper: a headshot, can't see anything naughty there.

The Punisher: an upper body shot with a banner placed over anything naughty. Nothing to see there.

The Shadow Walker: wearing a black cat suit affair with the midriff cut out, not really that shocking at all. Probably more covered up than the Castanics in TERA.

I still fail to see how this is so offensive when the levels of violence in games gets no reaction at all. If you want to complain about nudity go and log into AoC and play in Tortage for a bit, you'll see female chars wearing nothing but a thong running around. They look far more realistic than these cartoony parodies.

They're getting revenge for people using adblock.

This sums it up quite well for me.

    I'm not offended...I'm just over it -_-.

Yes, I like...assets. That doesn't mean your game is good, and I'd appreciate it if you gave the consumer a *bit* more credit for thinking with their...head.

I will say this though...I did play a bit of it (about 3 hours worth) and TERA is not the skimpiest MMO on the market.

Meh, changed my mind, other pages are still ridiculous.

Scarlet Porn needs to die a painful death.

The current front pages advert for Scarlet Blade states in the "punisher graphic" .."Show us why Blondes have more fun"

Thats real funny and false because you can't be a blonde in the game. A puke coloured green-yellow maybe.

"Most Anticipated game of 2013" ..where is the proof this, I have never seen any awards for it?

    Cheers

The adds on this site are just sad. Both for people who get excited in them and for online gaming in general.

Wow.  It must suck being a mature adult then, if you don't like looking at hot girls any more.

Luckily, I am in my 40s, married with kids, and still like looking at hot girls.  I am an adult, but I guess not "mature" by your yardstick.  I'm not unfaithful.  But come on...if you are a hetero guy and don't like looking at hot girls...check your pulse or something...

I've heard stories about some males that when they come of age and their "balls drop" they actually drop too far, hit the floor and roll away, never to be found again.

Pretty much the usual for such games.  Given that its based on the Queens Blade anime series, I'm surprised that they toned it down.  Its little more than yet another forgettable Asian grinder game.  The only reason its gained any real attention is the repressive nature of the typical NA society when it comes to sex.  Other than that, it really has little to recommend it.
