I'm looking for an easy to learn but hard to master game to introduce my son to, and chess is something I have on the list. He's 6 years old, though, so I want something a bit more flashy and engaging. Tried firing up Battle Chess, but both the controls and graphics are horribly dated.
What modern takes on Battle Chess or other war games would you suggest?
Also, what online CCGs do you recommend?
