It is retarded the the fanbois are calling this a beta. They have the product and been charaged full, what is so hard to understand?
Well i thought i would just waste their space on their forums because they wasted my time... well i thought i concelled my preorder months ago and yet some how they still took my money. but i have this nice new paper weight for my desk. i didn't even get the elusive white box. my cd came in an unmarked dvd case with stamps on it. when i saw it in the mail i was like holy ****ing **** the unibomber strikes again! being fearless as i am i opened it anyway. much to my suprise there was a white cd that says simply mourning. I was like dude what the **** i would have rather gotten a bomb than this what a rip! so i put it in my cd drive and pow! biff! bam! nothing... that ****ing disk isn't even readable(and yes my drive works fine). Thanks alot limited horizon you sure have made a product that everyone must have and will want.

The people who still stick up for this game over there really need to give it up. I know alot of them put many hours creating lore for a world that will never come to fruition, but there dreams are dieing along with Mourning.
With above said really look at the logic. They charged and said it was a mistake but it is also believed the game is in financial trouble hence the half-price pay beta idea that is being discussed there. So these lead me to belive (also consulting my magic 8-ball) that..... get ready for wild speculation....
The game has already been canceled. I belive who ever was in charge of the money over there did not like what he or she was seeing and wanted out the only way he or she could re-coup a investment he or she had to ship out his 3rd world program and put the servers up all at basement prices and all just enough to avoid the law.

That has got to be one of the ugliest things I've seen in ages- it's about the quality of Luclin stage EQ. Knight Online has better graphics than that.
I have no idea how anyone can still be supporting that train wreck.

That is exactly what I was thinking when I saw the screenshots, that they had reinvented a graphics engine with the quality of EQ 1 SoL. Thats about as good as I can say it gets. I have yet to see any decent screenshots of the game.

Live hahahahahahahahahahaha..... seriously I dunno much about the internet buissness but would fileplanet have anything to do with this scam. Really, they just need to shut these boards down i get dumber by the day reading them.
What surprises me is that people actually pre-ordered on website. This is something you NEVER do unless you use a CC company that you know can refund you the funds (like American Express). Knowing that this game isn't going to be on retail shelves is a sure sign that the game is a wait and see mmorpg. Hopefully people have learned their lesson. I was looking forward to this game as well, but now after reading all the problems, lies and deceitfulness, I will stay far, FAR away from Mourning.
I'm not a Mourning person anyways.

Just when I think they can't possible think of ANYTHING lower to do, they surprise me.
Charging $20 for a game that your pre-order people paid $10 more for thinking they were getting 40% off? That's hilarious. It's as if this is an experiment to determine how far they can go before being shut down. They have the common sense of 3 year olds... at least 3 year olds grasp the basic concept behind 'I give you money, you give me results.'
And take a look at that feature list... what have they been working on for the last 4+ years? That's not even worthy of speculation.
My initial beef with the game was so far off, I doubt most of us slamming Mourning back in January/February ever thought the issues ran this deep. We just didn't like the community relations... that's a mind blower
The sad thing is that some of them don't really care...........at least most of the fanboys don't.

Comparing EQ2 & WoW to Mourning, is like comparing Night & Day (no pun intended).
To charge people $20 & $30 to beta test your game is just wrong. It quite obvious that the company was slowly, but surely running out of funds to keep developing the game and decided to charge everyone in advanced before the game was even released (or finished for that matter). I'm sure they will also be charging monthly fees already as well. Considering there is probably only about 500+ people actually playing this game, I doubt it'll survive long. Horizons will probably outlast it. Why do developers bite off more then they can chew and then expect their fans to bail them out of their disaster? What a mess!!

This is funny. After people yelling at bitey, saying this was a "beta" not the full game, now they are changing nothing, and charging a monthly fee. And the 40 percent discount is funny(perorders- 30 dollars, normal pppl- 20 dollars), ego might want go back and take pre-algebra again.

Well, I think people are starting to wise up a little. Although there are a few hardcore fanbois posters, it seems that the are less than 45 people online at on time on that game. Even the mod of the board will not pay for it. Still, it is amazing that anyone would follow these horrible frauders to hell and back.
Broken Promises:
+"We will not charage for the game until it is shipped"
+"You get a 40 percent discount for preordering"
+ Just promising people would recieve a game at all. All they got was alpha/beta.
+ Promsing to Ship out the game. Then procuding to send out a old beta client, on a CD-RW cd. This was just to get around US law that says that you have to ship before you charage. They used the pre-order, so that legally "We send them something, SEE!"
+ Ego told everyone that the "beta" will go on longer. Now he just gives out a post saying he will start charaging starting May 1. I guess its "Have fun before the shit hits the fan"
+ Manging a fair community in general. The RPs are responsible for large scale banning for just critizing the game. Especially early on.
+ Promising to Sue Somethingawful.com and then talking to a real law man to figure out that was impossible.
+ Ego said that he asked MMORPG.com to take Mourning off the site. He later retracted that statement, as a lie.
