    I'll just list the games that released in 2012 that I've enjoyed the most.

     

    Guild Wars 2

    X-COM

    FFXIII-2

    Farcry 3

    Torchlight 2

    WoW: Mists of Pandaria

    Borderlands 2

    Binding of Issac (not sure if this was actually released in 2012, but that's when I found out about it)

     

    Honorable mentions:

    The Secret World

    Diablo 3

     

    Overall, I think it's been an excellent year for gaming.

    Games that came out this year? Or any game i've played this year?

     

    If the former then...I have no clue really. Nothing really stands out right now. Xcom EU was good I guess. I heard good things about Dragons Dogma, but am unable to play it since it's not on the PC.

    Otherwise Divine Divinity and to a lesser extent Beyond Divinity. The entire Divinity series really is one i'm really happy I got around to playing. Very much looking forward to Original Sin.

    Overall best was SWtOR.  I got a good 4 solid months of pure fun out of it, which is more than I can say about anything else this year.  TSW rocked my socks for about 3 days, but then the bland combat got to me.  Honestly, this year was pretty bad for gaming, with lots of disappointments.
