Spirit Tales is cute as they advertise, the characters are loveable, the animations are pretty even the world have an curious horizon curve that gives the player the impressions of be in a tinny planet, however the cuteness ends there, no cute pets beside a few rare ones avaliable in the slot machine, a mini game that requires a special coin to be played. The coin can be aquired in the cash shop or in the daily quest at the second map (requires lvl 40 or so to enter).
As its older sister server Glory Destiny Online (actually STO is the same game) it shares the same items list but what makes a huge diference between them are the numbers of players, STO's active players number droped substantially with time also players may notice a huge increase in cosmetic items prices, what taking in consideration that on of the great attractives of the game is the "cuteness" of the craracters, the time spent to get one costumes w/ status bonus may be quite disappointing if not using the cash shop to increase the chances.
Guild sieges have a curious system where the player can't choose his allies, the game itself sort the participating guilds in diferent sides to fight each other. In that way the player may fight along with another guild during one siege and in the next the ally you had in the previous battle may be your opponent , what is fun when all the strongest guilds won't fall in the same side.
Guild Masters are allowed to "buy" private islands, excusive maps that offer to the guild members npcs like shop, storage, guild storage and some others still not implemented. Islands also offer fishing area, hot spring where anyone can buy "bonus powder" giving specific bonus of the powder to anyone who bath in the water for the required time, statues of the characters can be also built in the "hall of fame" by the guild master and in the future pet nursery and others npcs may be implemented.
In a new patch, new quests was added giving rewards like battle mount, free costumes drops without status bonus and a housing system where each player can "rent" a space with a weekly fee and bring friends to party, celebrate and dinner.
PVP so as GVG have specifit times to open and close the maps. PVP have 2 modes: 5 vs 5 and twillight arena where 5 players fight against 1 who randomly assumes the form of one of the bosses with all the skills resistances and HP during all the 3 matches of each battle. So as GVG, during PVP the player can't choose wich side or who the allies will be.
In resume STO is a fun and cute game but i feel like its too short, missing some activity to do after some time beside walk around "looking cute".
