Then post exactly what hardware you have, so that we can see if an upgrade is viable or if you need to go the replacement route.  The exact brand name and model of every single part for which you can find such information is a good place to start.  If you can't find that information for some parts, then give as much information on the part as you can.

Am I the only person wondering what game?

EDIT: You really need a 64bit version of Windows

All of my posts are either intelligent, thought provoking, funny, satirical, sarcastic or intentionally disrespectful. Take your pick.

I get banned in the forums for games I love, so lets see if I do better in the forums for games I hate.

I enjoy the serenity of not caring what your opinion is.

Doesn't matter an iPad is unlikely to play it.

I did not even realize.... Mechwarrior online.  I thought this was a forum for that game only.

Here is an email I got from them so far.

    CPU: Core 2 Duo E6750 2.66GHz / Athlon II X2 245e
    GPU: GeForce 8800GT / Radeon HD 5600/5700
    RAM: 4 GB
    OS: Windows XP 32-bit SP3
    DirectX: DX9
    HDD Space: 4 GB

We're aware the game will run on some systems that are running on lower end specs but we can only offer minimal support in this situation.

Now while the above will get you into the game, you may have some framerate issues. We recommend the following:

    CPU: Core i3-2500 / AMD Athlon II X4 650
    GPU:GeForce GTX 285 / Radeon HD 5830
    RAM: 8 GB
    OS: Windows 7 SP-1 64-Bit
    DirectX: DX9
    HDD Space: 4 GB

There's no chance of playing that on an iPad 2.  That has totally incompatible hardware (no GPU DirectX support, no CPU ARM support), and both CPU and GPU performance that is wildly insufficient even if they were compatible.

What you need to do to upgrade depends on what hardware you have, which is why I asked earlier.  Your processor may or may not be able to get the job done, depending on how well it scales to four processor cores.  You'll definitely need a real video card, as you have integrated graphics from a previous era, before anyone was trying to make integrated graphics that were viable for gaming.

What case do you have, and what power supply?  That will determine what sort of upgrades are even possible for you.

Though I really think you should be looking into replacing the system outright, not trying to upgrade it.
