Wondering how many POBS fans are also POB fans

Just noticed a mention about this game in the pub forum. I'm excited to try it. Haven't read everything about it, so forgive me if this is a stupid question. But was wondering how many people looking forward to this game, are also Patrick O'Brian fans. For that matter was wondering if the abbrev, was a coincidence or not. Probably way off base, just curious.
Just in case, Patrick O'Brian was the author of 20.5 historical novels dealing with the Royal Navy (and some pirates for that matter around the turn of 1800. I've been addicted to games before, but frankly those novels were even more addicting.
They are one of the main reasons I'm excited about this game.
