RE6 let down?

I was on my way after work to grab Resident Evil, at least until I caught all the afternoon reviews on pretty much every site. Anyone here tried it out? I'm going to grab the demo and try it today. Guess I should have demo'd it awhile ago, but I've liked every game in the series and didn't think this one would fall so out of line.
