WvW gear vs PvE gear

Since WvW armor has a max lvl of 60 I was wondering is there PvE armor that has LvL 80 stats ? I mainly want to focus on WvW just with a bit of PvE at the side. And armor gives a small boost in WvW so thats why I am asking. If there would be lvl 80 PvE armor and only lvl 60 WvW armor it wil force people that want a small advantage to farm PvE while they maybe don't want to do that. Or am I just being stupid right now xD ?
