• 2 Datacenters: NA & EU
• All other countries are registered to NA by default
• Your registration will determine the default world display list (you can switch region lists)
• There will be a free period of server transfers, and then it will become paid when things balance out
• "Guesting" to a friend's world will be available some time after launch
• You can not WvW or benefit from WvW while guesting
• Game language defaults based on your OS
• Game language can be changed at any time through the launcher
• In game text can be changed through the options menu

Edit: It isn't clear if setting your first world choice to a certain region will lock you into that region for the future or if it is always region un-locked.
