I viewed over 30 mmorpgs from korea and I have to tell you that they are pretty amazing. I saved some links of the ones that are in open beta right now. Hey, you won't be able to read it but, you can navagate it. It's worth it:

The Koreans blow when it coems to MMORPGs. theyre all the exact same thing with different graphics. Ive played enough to make my choice. They also made L2... enough said.

In case you weren't jokin, L2 was a giant bomb, they had NO bot protection whatsoever, Like lineage 1, COH , and partly guild wars (partly, it's mostly arenanet) They're made by NCsoft, they are a korean company.

Arena net is an american team funded by Ncsoft thats basically it in a nutshell i wouldn't really say GW is made by ncsoft morel ike being published by them

Both Guild Wars and City of Heroes were created by dev teams from the US. Tabula Rasa and Auto Assault are also US based i think. NCSoft is simply the Korean publisher that funds them.

I do not play Lineage 2 now, but I know that they have GameGuard(equal to nProtect, I guess). Also, Elysium is also in English, if you look at the top left hand corner when your in the site.

*Sigh* Korean MMOG's are just as bland and plain as the rest of the MMOG's on the market. I've played my fair share of foriegn MMOG's and NONE of them were good enough for me to keep playing, let alone pay to play them.

Yeah, I've played Korean MMORPG's but none of them have really dragged me in as long as WoW or SWG have. Priston Tale came close, though.

well of course we know that asians (especially Koreans and Japanese) have an incredibly deep reputation in MMORPG gaming and im sure weve all seen how intense gaming gets in those countries

Most of the key developers for Guild Wars are former blizzard employee's who broke of to make thier own game and people from blizard know how to make games..... GW is kicking ass !!!!

Koreans are good at making clone games and farming/botting, but thats about it when it comes to games.
