Why is the download so slow?

in Secret World Legends

So, I'm downlaoding the game...And I'm getting between 100 and 500kb/s.14 to 80 hours to download....Does anyone know why this download is so slow?  In generaly It should only take me 1 hour per 2 gigs or so.....

 

Update:  Nevermind, this thing fluctuates between 2.5mb/s to 100k/bs who knows.

    I know that on downloading peak times the patcher gets slow. Right now is one of those times! This is as slow as I've ever seen it in fact, must be those 1 mill new players since yesterday DLing :P

    Thanks for the reply, right after I posted this, my speed shot way up, so it might just be the first part of the download, but look slike I have 1.25 hours left. :)

    Sometimes it helps to close the launcher and start it again. But that's more a solution if your downloadspeed falls to a few KB/sec.

    Very important: deactivate firewall and anti-virus while downloading and patching!
