F2P-GF's First- Mac/PC

Hey everyone, I am looking for some help finding MMOs that are free to play completely.

I am attempting to get my girlfriend to dabble in the genre because she brought it up to me that she may be interested but doesn't want to shell out money yet. I would go ahead and check out the big name F2P games I know but she only has a Macbook. Bootcamp isn't an option so the games must be able to run on the Mac OS. Anyone who has some suggestions of games we can play together please let me know :D Thanks!

    Does your GF have a newer Mac with a decent video card?

     

    Ryzom has an extended free trial (skills are capped at 125 I think).

    City of Heroes is F2P and has a PC and Mac client.

    Fallen Earth too, though I haven't looked into their Mac port in forever. 

    Regnum Online is a grindy RvR game on Mac/PC. It's F2P.

     

    You might also want to consider Minecraft or Diablo III. They cost upfront, but then there's no other investment.

     

    And if you're up for a challenge, Wine can be used to get a handful of other MMOs running on a Mac. Guild Wars runs great. LOTRO as well. Free EQ and UO shards out there using older clients also run great.
