STO actually sent me an e-mail advertising they are selling Lifetime subscriptions.  To....a F2P game.  *facepalm*

I can barely find the words here......its just beyond my comprehension.  Plus its only $200.  What a DEAL!  I cant think of a better investment.  Normally its only $300 bucks so they are being nice and giving a discount.  Joygasm.

Here's the link so you can buy!  BUY NAO!  http://startrekonline.com/lifetime

What's this? You mean, you don't want to pay that and then spend wads of cash on their lockbox casino scam?

    Pfft...

Haha, just kidding =).. Well its not a desperate move at all, I honestly believe that there is of people out there willing to buy this 'great' deal. If you look at the general discussion forum, you have 2 pages of topics posted today. The game is an ill cow that with the hand of god somehow seems to produce a LOT of milk =)

I think the lure of being able to play as a Liberated Borg is a little too strong for some people (I blame Seven of Nine for this).

Since when is Tuesday a direction?

Harsh words here, I think she will be getting a life-time sub to TSW.

I never meant it in a bad way.  It is widely accepted that Seven of Nine's introduction helped save Voyager (the seires, not the ship), and lets face it, she is a pretty good what if/follow up to Hugh.

If they offered Liberated Borg as a playable species in the cash shop, I would consider buying it (or at least I would if I hadn't already bought the Caitian species).

Saw this pop up on the launcher as a 'special offer' yesterday and had a true wtf moment.

But seriously, who wouldn't pay $200 to get their name displayed in a different color on the forums?!?  What a bargain.

I actually was like "yeah right..." after reading the OP post. I really just can't believe they actually mean that. I consider lifetime subs rather fishy in general but selling them for f2p games really blows all the silliness I've read lately out of the water. I just hope very few will support such a nonsense. Bad enough if bad games sell those at the start. Selling lifetime subs after the failing is already known and they already are f2p (although people say that game has improved a bit) is just sad.

It's an unfortunate fact of life , but they wouldn't offer it if there wasn't a demand. Even if there was one person. On planet of 6 billion people consider the odds, that some idiot/s would pony up. It boogles the mind.
