Then they the are the ones helped who created emo. Look at the way they depressively dress(from your list on how someone is "emo").
He dresses punk now, when he first started he dressed nothing like how he does now, so I dont think they helped start emo.

I think hes talking about Billie Joe Armstrong ... aka lead singer of Greenday who use to be the best lead guitarist/ singer in the world until they had to try to make money and become poppy

I wouldnt consider Greendays new stuff "poopy", it definately isnt like his old stuff buts thats alright. I would like to see another album like Dookie again, that would be nice. The new album is quite a bit politically involved, and more serious.
