I would definitely re-sub to check out 3-faction pvp in Rift.

And this is why I still believe Trion is one of the best companies out there.
I certainly agree with this, I just wish they had more games out. Rift is too much of a barebones themepark for me but Trion busts their ass putting out content moreso than I see other studios doing.
If they pull this off with a fully fledged 3rd faction and a good zone to muck around in I will go back to rift and never leave.

3 Faction PVP is confirmed but lets all view how they implement it.
There aren't many themeparks that I really enjoy. Rift was one. DAoC was another. If they pull this off properly then I will become a very long time subscriber of this game.

It would be all the more impressive if they did it with an established, two faction mmorpg. I don't think that's been done before.
I can not remember winning or losing a single debate on the internet.
They could introduce a new "renegade" faction, in which you can switch with your existing guardian or defiance character.
And don't they already have the merc-system for battlegrounds, where you get switched to the enemy faction if the queues aren't balanced?
