Fix for those having problems with the launcher
Long story short SOE changed the launcher about a year ago and in typical SOE fashion they disabled the old version so you can't update or get a straight reason of why your old launcher isn't working or won't connect.
The fix:
Go to http://www.everquest.com/
Click on the the "Play Free" button on right of the page.
Save the EQ_setup.exe file.
Start the setup file and point it to your original install location.
This way it will ONLY download the updated files instead of having to download the whole game again.
Use the NEW launcher icon and you should be able to get in now.
Took me a bit of searching to figure this out so figured I'd post it here to save the rest of ya some time trying to get it fixed.
Apparently letting your old launcher update or actually telling you that your launcher needs updated and a way to update it was too easy so instead they give ya a generic error message and a run around. /feebs

Will it work on Test? My regular EQ is fine but my recently downloaded EQTest is now blocked and I like to play my lonely ranger from time to time.
