Aion NA updates to 3.0 & switches to "Truly Free (TM)" April 11.
Us Euros will probably have to wait a bit longer as Gameforge (a) have 3 times as much translation to do in localising 3.0 and (b) still need to sort out a shedload of issues from launch / handover (I want my CE / pre-order goodies on my new toon, grr . . .).

Just got my email with the announcment. I will be there on launch day. NC Soft's Truly Free totally destroys any other Free To Play method out there.
Can't you just sign up for a free trial now. It goes up to level 40 I believe, and it'll just get upgraded to a full account when they go F2P.
