Is there a free trial?

in Final Fantasy XI
  I've been looking all over the place, if ti's there I missed it. Is there a free trial available? I'm interested but want to check it out before I buy it.

    You have to buy the game to play it, but you get your first month free.

    As long as it has been out, there really should be a free trial.  I am a big fan of the FF series (currently playing FFX on PS2).  I have been wanting to check out FFXI but I don't know anyone that has it, and I am not going to drop $30-$50 on a game without trying it first.

    I like FFXI, I have been playing this game March 04. Its kinda hard in the beginning but what game isn't right? Its a good game very challenging its good game try it. ::::28::
