Hi all,
I have recently been working on a classic-formula mmo with a few twists of my own.
Many familiar mechanisms are present - quests, instances, guilds and so forth. But I have created a slightly agressive PvP system - open, unrestricted PvP + death penalties, controlled through a system that means if you go around killing people, the consequences for you will eventually be much worse.
I won't bore you with details here, but if anyone has an hour or two to spare, I'd appreciate some seasoned opinions over at;
It's very much still in beta, with only part of the game world accessible. But expect weekly automatic updates to start filling in holes very soon!
Thanks for reading,
Lynks.
UPDATE:
There have been a bunch of new accounts and characters since I made this thread which is so exciting to see. Thanks to everyone who took the time to check out Adranos - I can't tell you how much I appreciate it.
One point I'd like to make; some of the graphical elements of the game are very much just 'place holders' - I am a software developer and certainly no artist, but as I am alone in this project I have had to do my best to draw walking animations and so forth, and despite my best efforts I am well aware that the player/npc models are a little shady at best, and I fully intend to find someone who actually knows how to use photoshop to help me out in the near future
Again, many many thanks for anyone who has had a wander around in the game! The server is holding out just fine, I check it nervously from my phone almost hourly :P
