Rumor: SimCity 5 Details Leak

Though it hasn't been officially announced by EA, it seems Maxis' next project is a new Sim City title.
Purported details and concept art of Sim City 5 surfaced this morning. The information reportedly comes from German games magazine GameStar, which claims the new Sim City is due out next year. The game includes, among other things, a new graphics engine, multiplayer modes, updatable buildings, and even rounded roads! There's also an interview with Maxis SVP Lucy Bradshaw who said the team wanted to take its time creating the next Sim City while developing The Sims and Spore.
Maxis is set to make a presentation at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco next week. It's possible Sim City 5 could be announced officially then

Definitely good to see the development cycle MITE be starting or started for this game. No ones really sure how substantial the claims are that its really coming though.
While enjoying City XL 2012, for me it still isn't SimCity so definitely going to be on the look out for SC5, thanks for sharing this topic.
