Quick Question: What do you think the lvl caps will be like in this game, does anyone know for sure?
I plan on getting the game approx. a month after it's official release (unless its pushed back), around the beginning of june. For some strange reason, while trying to envision the future, Im thinking if there might be any hardcore gamers out there that will have reached the level cap and be dominating the social world by the time I enter the game...
In WoW, I played the game slowly (I got it at release) trying to balance between transition into the game and final exams in normal life, and I found that while I was only lvl 18 there were people who had already reached the lvl cap in like a week and a half ... will that happen in this game too?
Oh! And btw, heres a little poll, just for kicks!

I wish I knew the answer to that question.
It is also important to know whether the character power progresses exponentially or linearly with lvls.
Exponential progression means lvl20 killing 10 lvl10s.
nice poll but i have no idea how fast i lvl depends on what else i can do ingame then hitting mobs...
and getting lvl 60 in 2 weeks why do peopel always say that when its 2 months powerlvling not 2 goddamnit weeks
At every level due to the way the kingdoms are structured, almost everything in a gameplay way that can be done at higher levels, you can also do at lower levels... the Devs have stated this as being one of their aims when devlpoing the game... I wont get into the details, too tired atm.
Their is less incentive in DnL to race to get to higher levels so you can PvP or similar. At all levels the fun begins the moment you log in, not at some distant point in the future.. of coarse old habits die hard, and many will just level anyway, but for those that break the habit you will have fun from the start
Competition hah, I'ld prefer slow leveling as you experience more of the game's content. I like to visit places, see new things and learn new crafts. People urging the power ladder lvl based are often the 1337 h4x0rz... Where competition on certain levels is not to be underestimated as a fun factor bringing it to stats and level of a character is simply not my thing.
What I look forward to is having knowledge of the game environment fast, finding a new world with an awesome setting and plenty indepth history incorporated is in general a fun world to develop roleplay in and that is what I'll be looking at.
