I haven't received mine yet.
It shouldn't be too much longer. The PR firm they outsource these things too got all our keys a couple days ago. We will prolly be playing in less then 2 weeks.
I don't know why you started a new thread, your old was was still on alive, and still on page 1. The staff here can't do anything to help us. Its in the hands of the PR guys when we get out prizes.
Same here for the gamergod.com contest (they took place on the same day). No key yet. Hopefully it will be pretty soon.

But why have a contest like they have here and on two other sites, knowing when the contest ends, Only to hand out a prize over a month later. You corporate fanboi Toolz can make up all the excuses you like for em. First impression is the best impression and in this business word of mouth can kill your product. If your having this many problems with your outsourcing, if thats the issue then maybe that should be looked at very seriously. Especially in this delicate time of development and lime light PR time. I would suggest next time giving the tickets to the admins before you have the contest. That is a no brainier. Why work backward.
Now i did receive a email assuring me that they haven't forgot about me and that i was to receive my ticket on a Wednesday that came and went two weeks ago. So i haven't posted till now. would have been better if id have received something that stated something about hay mr so N so the devs are adding some new stuff in the game yadda yadda but we haven't forgot about you. these changes are to pave the way for your entry into DnL yadda yadda best regards harry truman. ohh well. i think you get the idea. Im a little sore since i canceled a weekend of fun to test this game and not hear a word about it till dev chat, now this post. Either way its nice to get a closed beta under your belt and in your portfolio of inner circle testing.
Now don't get me wrong. sometimes there are tie ups but talk still happens and that talk stays on these type of boards for a good long time. And alot of folks read em especially when its about p2p. I for one like to check em out for any game i am thinking of buying. Only a fool buys a title based on the pretty picture. I like to hear all the emotional stuff. the real meat of it. i don't care about the fluff.
But your dealings with your business partners are yours and yours alone.
And my comment on the fanbois toolz, sorry i cant stand a cooperate tool thats told to go to these type of website and pose as a damn gamer and try to hype their titles. They make me want to stab em in the eye with my keyboard.

actually, that person telling you anything after they have downloaded the client has violated the nda according to the nda. Companies take this stuff serious and will sue. Its not something to take lightly.
Not saying this person would do a thing like that of course.

Lol they're not going to sue someone for posting about it on these forums. The most that will happen is they will get kicked out of beta. They'd probably only sue if some big gaming site broke the NDA.

Got mine on Friday, but was busy and hadnt checked my email until now. downloading the client now and cant wait! Anyone have any idea how long we have for the beta testing? any broad idea would do. Hope to see some of you guys in-game.

dont let your computer 'snooze.' basically screwed up my download, somehow, and just randomly stopped at 55%. aaaand back to step A.
Edit (again) - Luckily, the stuff that I had already downloaded was saved and I just have to resume basically. Sweet feature if you ask me...(I was just expecting to download the whole thing again.)
Once you've downloaded the client and the latest patch has been installeed, you're ready to test.

I still didn't get my key but DnL devs doesn't seem to care.
Don't expect to get a high fps (high as in higher than 20) unless if u got some of the higher end cards. (Radeon 9800 and up or GeForce 5900 and up)
They arent going to send it to your MMORPG.com account, why doesnt your email work? YOU JUST WASTED A BETA ACCOUNT
The only email I received in my MMORPG.com Inbox was the one informing me I was a beta key winner. All other emails on the subject have gone to the email address I have listed in my account profile.

Ya really, first he doesnt stop spamming when he wins and then it turns out he cant even use the email he registered with. God thats annoying.
