So ive been tinkering around with game art .. wonder what you guys think. It's definitely more in the wow/warhammer style .. which I know some people don't care for, but I actually prefer

I am, usually on the sandbox .. more "hardcore" side of things, but I also do just want to have fun. So lighten up already

The 2 most important things to establish with Game Art is shape and color. Since you are looking at always working within limited parameters, you have to figure out how to convey styling elements. Although your textures lack realism, they do the basics better then most in establishing color and shape.
There are some things to keep in mind when working with 3D assets that will go into a game. Players rarely look up, so most of your polies should be spent on things that will be lower the 2 meters. When working with textures you should not think of it as a map should be 256. You should think of it as 1 meter should be 128 pixels. This keeps uniformity in pixel depth.
