Been thinking.. Hunter isn't my thing (anymore) back in the days it was fun.. but now i just dont feel it.

I want to play a class that deals high damage, also is good at soloing and ofcourse fun to play, i like caster types too so that could be an option. What do you fellas recommend?

Rune Keeper? That's only 2 casters in the game (well, maybe Minstrel is one too) and the other LM is more crowd control.

I would also say Rune Keeper.

It might take a bit to get used to but it is a fun class to play. It can also be used as a healer.

With the Isengard changes, go DPS Minstrel...  seriously.   I'm a Champion, my friend I run through the game with is a Minstrel, he is out damaging me left and right.

Along with his survivability, its kind of crazy.

Hmm, do classes change a lot each expansion?

Did they do some reviews or tweaks on some of the classes?  If so which ones?

I don't want to highjack this thread but I think these questions might help expand it some more and get more information in here for the OP and myself.....

I would like to hear about Wardens (Im now being greedy)

Classes don't change every expansion but they do look at the classes from time to time.

To answer your question, I love my Warden. Very fun to play, looks cool while doing its stuff and has a lot of versatility.

Having said that, as you get higher level itt becomes more difficult to play because the skills or "gambits" get longer and you have to memorize more.

Essentially, each skill is made up of a sub skill. There is a "spear" a "shield" and a "shout" which is represented by a fist.

you have to chain these together in order to then enact or complete your gambit.

so one simple move could be "spear" "spear".

However, you can get "spear", "shield", "shout" "spear".

or other combinations. The trick is enacting the correct gambit when you want a certain skill to fire off while in the heat of battle.

I enjoy Runekeeper, it's fun and has good survivability solo with the heals and high dps. My main is a Minstrel though. If you haven't played a Minstrel yet this might be a good time to start one, they are much more flexible than they used to be with the new changes.

The most boring class i've played is Guardian, bashing the same buttons every time, even at 45th level. Unless anyone can tell me how to make Guardians more fun?

My Guardian dies far more often than my RK or Minstrel (actually my Minstrel almost never dies thesedays) funny really that two Elves in cloth armour, one armed with a lute can survive better than a warrior in plate....

I have a guardian, and well... they suck...  they get a little better if you get an LI that increase Guardian ward duration but over all the Guards are just a HP shield for other classes. While my Grd is my main he is not getting leveled to 75 which shows you how great our changes were.

Now on the slightly less depressing side, OP can be a bit of fun but overall it didn't look like it got helped by any of the changes.

rune-keeper is majorly fun in my opinion..also wardens and minstrels seem to be fun nowadays.. so perhaps runkeeper if you want dps, warden if you want a tank or ministrel if you want a healer for fun? :P

I have each class around the 35 mark.  I have to agree with many above the Rune-Keeper sounds like a great fit for ya.
