What happened to the hype meter? (drop in ratings)

What's up with the sudden drop for all games except GW2?
F.e. Archeage dropped from ~8.3 to 7.8 and TSW from to ~8.1 to 7.8.
Did the rules get changed? If anything, i think the number of votes should count towards the rating - but it seems that's not what was changed. So what was it?

Now Dragona is at #3 again with only ~250 votes, wtf. The amount of votes certainly don't matter.
Anyway, the inner workings of the hype meter need to be open to the public, and changes to the hype meter should be announced and explained. Everything else is just suspicious.
