cant play connection issues

I keep getting an "error 404 not found", I did all the things they suggest but still cannot play, I ran a tracert and there were a couple of time outs , I wonder if my ip needs to be reset or something.

    I don't know if its the same issue but I had a problem with patching and connection a few days back. It was something about the shortcut on the desktop because when I used the start menu Icon it was fine. I have no idea why this would happen, it never acted up again but try clicking the exe in the actual Lotro file or another short cut. See if it helps.

    thanks for the reply, but no that did not work, I have emailed LOTRO tech and they want me to email my computer stats .  I have read that a few people have had similar problems and had to call there IP and get it reset, I dont know what the implications to that are but that is what I might have to do
