Preferably a game that isnt one of the obvious:  wow, lotro, eve, eq, daoc, rift, ect..

I do enjoy:

  • Lotro, story, questing, graphics, although it seems like a grind sometime

  • wow: Animations, BATTLEGROUNDS! Absolutely loved the PVP and the game itself, just can't go back to it.

  • mage-type classes

  • non-grind

  • preferably a F2P...

  • I'm not a real hardcore raider

ANy games that are a mix between lotro-style and wow's BG's/PVP?

Playing: GW2, Planetside 2.
Trying out: Age of Wushu
Looking forward to: AA, Wildstar

I can't think of a single one. Haven't played any mmos in 2 months. I'm not going to play any until my SWTOR beta invite shows up (yes I preordered).

Guild Wars, maybe? Good story, questing, graphics, animations... has a few magic classes, the grind is 100% optional for titles, and while it's not f2p it's b2p (frankly it usually costs less than f2ps in the end though). I've never played WoW so I can't tell you that they have similar pvp, but I know that GW has good pvp with a lot of different options. Only thing that might turn you off is that there isn't a persistent world.
